Whenever I am going somewhere and my nails need to look like they have been just freshly painted (even thugh I didnt have time to paint them for days), my "go-to nailpolish" is always a glitter topcoat. It makes my manicure last for days! Therefore my summer vacation nailpolish pick was OPI Eurso...euro and OPI last friday night:

Finding a good metallic nailpolish is a true science fiction if you ask me. I was looking for it for ages and I finally have it. Shiny and silver OPI Push and Shove from Gwen Stefani collection is pure perfection.

Lov za srebrnim lakom, ki bi na nohtih izgledal kot prava aluminijasta folija je končno končan. OPI Push and Shove iz Gwen Stefani kolekcije je točno to kar sem iskala- prava srebrna pefekcja.

SHADE OF THE DAY Eurso Euro

Browsing through my nailpolish stash you can tell in a sec, I have a thing for nail polishes in blue shades. I had an eye on that onw for quite some time now and finally here it is. OPI ... Eurso Euro:

Samo pogled na mojo zbirko lakov za nohte je dovolj, da ugotovite da pač imam ljubezen do modrih lakov. Danes je končno na vrsti OPI ... Eurso Euro, ki sem ga imela ogledanega čisto predolgo, a kdor čaka dočaka: 

One coat would do if you are careful when applying it. I wasnt so I needed two. Its bright on the sun but super dark navy in the shade =) / 

Ob pazljivem nanašanju je ena plast popolnoma dovolj, jaz sem potrebovala dve. Na soncu je zelo živ, medtem ko je na senci popolnoma temne mornarsko modre barve. =)

Considering the fact that this nail polish is a true chameleon, regarding the ability of changing shades, I was looking for fashion inspiration combining few similar shades of blue. And I found it. Vera Wang made the illusion of many blues in one outfit, using black transparent materials, layering over the blue ones. Perfect.

Glede na to, da je Eurso ... Euro pravi kameleon v spreminjanju odtenkov glede na svetlobo, sem za tokratno modno inspiracijo iskala ravno to - nešteto modrih v eni sami obleki. In sem jo našla. Del kolekcije Vere Wang vsebuje mojstrsko oblikovana oblačila, kjer s sojenjem črnega šifona preko modrih odtenkov pričara iluzijo neskončne modrine.

I've been wearing black or white nailpolish for too long, so I decided to spice my nails a bit and played around with two blue ones this time. Lady Lya 959 as a base and OPI Whaf Wharf Wharf over it. What do you say?

Zadnje čase sem nosila le črn ali bel lak na nohtih, zato sem se danes odločila za malce popestritve, ter se poigrala z dvema modrima odtenkoma. Lady Lya 959 za podlago, ter OPI Whaf Wharf Wharf preko. Kaj pravite?

Surprisingly cobalt blue isnt as hot for the upsoming spring/summer season as it used to be seasons back, regardless I still have fashion inspiration in this color by 3.1.Phillip Lim wave-y dresses and gorgeous Celine coat. Since the color itself is very "in your face" I love it in combination with white to tone it down a bit, making great fresh appearance. Prefect for hot days, right?
Makeup from Marc Jacobs runway have to say is extremely daring and sexy. Do you dare?

Prihajajočo pomlad električno modra žal ne bo več kraljevala v modenem svetu, vseeno, pa sem utegnila najti oblekice iz kolekcije 3.1.Phillip Lim-a in plašč Celine, ki so super modna inspiracija tej objavi. Električno modra je v kombinaciji z belo izjemno sveža izbira, brez dvoma popolna za toplo sezono.
Drzne pa svoje oči obrobite z modro, kot so to storili na modni reviji Marc Jacobsa. =)

Since I loved my metalic french manicure so much, I decided to play with this color palette once more, but with different design this time. This is what I came up with, using ChG 2030, OPI Black Lady.

Francoska manikura iz prejšnje objave je bila resnično ena meni ljubših v zadnjem času, zato sem se odločila, da zopet posežem po podobni barvni paleti, a ustvarim drug vzorec. Tokrat sem uporabila OPI Black Lady in ChG 2030 za podlago:

While struggling with literal ace age in my hometown due the sleet, meaning no electricity what so ever, no phone signal etc, I really didnt want to freeze my hands waiting for my nailpolish to dry. Medtem ko se v domačem kraju že nekaj dni spopadamo z ledeno dobo (brez elektrike, gretja, signala na telefonu...) je zadnja stvar ki bi si jo želela, izpostavljati roke mrazu zaradi čakanja, da se posuši lak. Zato lahko še enkrat rečem, da so OPI nailapp nalepke res TOP zadeva, tokrat v Black & Gray Rattlesnake vzorcu.

It takes a little bit of practice, but this time I managed to use one nailapp for two nails, which means I will be able to use this pattern on both hands one more time. =)
In ker vaja dela mojstra, sem se pri nanašanju že tako zverzirala, da sem eno nalepko uspela nanesti na dva nohta, zaradi česar bom lahko ta vzorček na vseh prstih imela še za enkrat! =)

Being in a glitter phase right now, so after applying Nicole by OPI Khloe had a little lam lam, I decided to go with one layer of one of my FAV glitter nail polish OPI Last Friday night. Love it so much, I have this manicure twice in a row right already:

Trenutno sem v neki bleščeči fazi, zato sem po nanosu creamy laka Nicole by OPI Khloe had a little lam lam nanesla še moj najljubši bleščeči lak OPI Last Friday night. Rezultat mi je tako všeč, da imam to manikuro že dvakrat zapored.

Dont need to say much, but fashion inspiration couldn't be better than fall/winter Elie Saab. Floral prints on dark background in emerald green and navy colours, embracing this minimalistic designs  in the best possible way. Feminine and gorgeous. Gotta love Elie Saab!

Brez potrebe po pretiranem izgubljanju besed. Elie Saab in njena kolekcija ne bi mogla biti boljša za modno inspiracijo trenutni manikuri. Rožnat potisk na temni podlagi, v smaragdno zeleni in modri barvi, objemajo minimalistične dizajne na najlepši možen način. Prelepo in ženstveno. Enostavno moraš ljubiti Elie Saab.

SHADE OF THE DAY Goldlace

I kinda have a tradition, making special manicures for Christmas. This year I chose with OPI nail apps in Gold lace and I honestly cannot remember the last time I got so many compliments. ;)

Kot vsak Božič, sem tudi za letošnjega izbrala za spoznanje bolj posebno manikuro, tokrat z OPI Gold lace nalepkami. Ne spomnim se, kdaj sem nazadnje dobila toliko komplimentov. ;)

Talking about festive moments I could find better fashion inspiration than Ellie Saab lacy gowns, which always take my breath away, MAC makeup artist created gorgeous goldy-black makeup, whereas Jason Wu s hair stylist made gorgeous braided up do and placed gorgeous hair accessories, making the romantic hairstyle a bit more futuristic.

In ko je govora o prazničnem času, za modno inspiracijo vsekakor nisem mogla iti mimo kreacij Ellie Saab. Čipkasti dizajni me jemljejo sapo, MAC vizažisti so ustvarili krasen praznični videz v zlato črnih odtenkih, frizerji Jason Wu-ja pa so spletli krasno romantično pričesko, ki so ji z zlatim dodatkom vlili pridih futurizma.

Black. Textured sandy finish  embraced with  glass sparkles. Named with the best name possibile. Emotions. Here is the new OPI shade from Mariah Carey Holiday collection.

Črnina objeta v steklen peščen finiš, poimenovana z eno besedo, ki opiše vse. Emotions. Tukaj je najnovejši OPI lak iz Mariah Carey Holiday kolekcije.

Instant association when my eye cought this OPI beauty, was Dolce and Gabbana black designs from their fw 2013 collection. Its true you cannot go wrong with black, but you also cannot go wrong with this glamurous and elegant designs with sicillian vibe, which was again inspiration for the collection and is just done till perfection!
If you are thinking about cat eyes this season, you wont go wrong either. Monique Lhuillier, Dolce and Gabbana and Lanvin were only a few, who sent their models on the runway lookin fierce and sexy. 

V trenutku ko sem zagledala ta črno bleščečega lepotca , so se mi pred očmi zavrteli črni dizajni Dolce and Gabbana kolekcije jesenzima13. Je že res, da je črnina večna in varna izbira,  vseeno pa so le ti glamurozni in elegantni kosi s sicilijanskim pridihom (ki je bila zopet inspiracija za kolekcijo), več kot le to.
V kolikor si v teh mrzlih dnevih zaželite mačjega pogleda, boste še kako in. Monique Lhuillier, Dolce and Gabbana and Lanvin in drugi, so na svoje modne brvi  poslali manekenke, ki so zagotovo izžarevale neustrašnost in seksapil.

If you are a Balenciaga lover, than you are gonna love this manicure!
 OPI Alpine snow as a base and OPI Black shatter, creating the trendy "craked" affect. I know shatter is nothing new, but it is new for me and I LOVE it. If you dont already own this beast, u totally should have! =)

Tale manikura je popolnoma pisana na kožo vsem ljubiteljicam tekoče kolekcije Balenciage.
Uporabila sem OPI Alpine snow kot podlago, ter OPI Black shatter za trendi, razpokan videz. Vem, da shatter lak ni nič novega in so je že stari znanec tržišču, je pa novi zame in priznam, da sem nad njim več kot navdušena!
Če razpokančkov še nimate, potem si ga vsekakor morate omisliti! =)

As already said, cracked look is HOT this season! Alexander Wangs debut collection for Balenciaga went promising with paint-sprackled mohair sweaters, which im sure are going to hot stuff for all fashionistas on the colder season. As far as makeup goes, you cant go wrong with lining your eyes with a bit more daring cat-eyeliner look, such as the ones on the pic from aquascutum, anna sui shows.

Kot že rečeno. Letošnji trend razpokanega videza, zahvaljujoč prvi kolekciji Alexandra Wanga za Balenciago, je zagotovo že obnorel modne navdušence. Razpokana barva na moher puloverju, bo letos vroča roba na modnem trgu in verjamem, da se bo znašla v marsikateri omari modnih navdušenk. Tudi letos pa ne bomo popolnoma nič manj in, če bomo oči drzno obrobile s črnim eye-linerjem in z mačjim pogledom osvajale svet, kot so ga modeli iz revij za aquascutum in anno sui .

SHADE OF THE DAY Bling it!

For the forst day of Slovenian fashion week I decided to go with all white outfit. For nails I wanted something now so much in your face, but still a bit different and blingy. This was the perfect mani for what I have imagened for the outfit: Glints of Glinda in When monkeys fly:

Za prvi dan tedna mode, sem se odločila za popolnoma bel outfit, h kateremu sem si predstavljala minimalistično manikuro, ki ne bi bila opazna na prvi pogled, a še vedno unikatno/drugačno in predvsem bleščečo. Nastala je tale manikura, ki je točno ta kar sem želela. Glints of Glinda in When monkeys fly.

SHADE OF THE DAY Its deep!

Needless to say deep, almost black, navy blue is the "IT" colors for this f/w season and stressing my love for this color, aside from black. So you can imagine my reaction, when I found this OPI at my friends house, while drinking coffee. Instant removal of my nailpolish and applying OPI Road house blues:

Ni potrebe po poudarjanju kako zelo "IN" je letošnjo jesen/zimo globoka, skoraj črna, mornarsko modra in kako vesela sem, da je temu tako. Modra od vekomaj moja barva. Poleg črne. Lahko pa si predstavljate mojo reakcijo, ko sem med pitjem kave pri prijateljici, zagledala tega lepotca. Takojšnja odstranitev trenutnega laka in nanos OPI Road house blues:

When it comes to fashion trends including this color, we just cannot pass it without putting Chloe and Celine in the front line.
Chloe on the other hand, went a little further and proved, navy can sure be styled with black, making a true work of art.
Celine with its impeccable minimalistic style, just couldnt do any better, when including this year big trend of oversized coats and midi A-line skirts, embraced in this misterious color.
Not even in beauty world navy color couldnt be ignored. Thakoon used metallic gold over it, creating a new dimension and creating a prefect look for the upcoming holiday season.

Ko pomislim na letošnje modne trende, ujete v globoko mornarsko barvo, brez oklevanja postavim v prvo vrsto francoski modni hiši Chloe in Celine.
Chloe je po drugi strani ubrala drugo pot, ter dokazala da se mornarska modra lahko kombinira s črno in da skupaj lahko tvorita pravo modno poslastico.
Celine je svoj v neoporečni minimalistični stil prvovrstno izoblikovala letošnjo velik trend prevelikih plaščev, ter midi kril, ter jih objela v mističen val globoke modrine.
Tudi v lepotnih vodah se modri niso mogli ogniti. Thakoon je z zlatim senčilom preko modre, videzu dodal nove dimenzije, ki bo zagotovo pravi za prihajajoče slavnostne večerne shode.

WHOA! I feel inlove with this one. Perfect blue, just like the color of the deepest ocean, with sandy finish which looks sctually looks like particles of glass. Here is OPIs Wharf Wharf wharf. Wharf indeed!

WAW! Ljubezen na prvi pogled! Popolna barva najglobjih delov misterioznih morja, s peščenim videzom, ki pa pravzaprav spominja na koščke stekla. OPI Wharf Wharf wharf. Wharf indeed!

Two coats, quick drying time/ Dve plasti in hitro sušenje

Navy is goin to be a big hit this season! Celine and Chloe did an amazing job, by putting this color in the collection and are by far one of my favs. As far as makeup goes, Thakoons show did gorgeous navy smokey look, with golden sparkles on models eyes. Fantastic!

Mornarsko modra bo letošnjo jesen kraljica. Celine in Chloe sta ustvarili meni osebno lepših kolekcij, v katero sta prepletali mornarske odtenke. Thakoon pa je svoje modele našminkal z zadimljen videz z zlatimi lističi na očeh. Fantazija!
