SHADE OF THE DAY the blues

I've been wearing black or white nailpolish for too long, so I decided to spice my nails a bit and played around with two blue ones this time. Lady Lya 959 as a base and OPI Whaf Wharf Wharf over it. What do you say?

Zadnje čase sem nosila le črn ali bel lak na nohtih, zato sem se danes odločila za malce popestritve, ter se poigrala z dvema modrima odtenkoma. Lady Lya 959 za podlago, ter OPI Whaf Wharf Wharf preko. Kaj pravite?

Surprisingly cobalt blue isnt as hot for the upsoming spring/summer season as it used to be seasons back, regardless I still have fashion inspiration in this color by 3.1.Phillip Lim wave-y dresses and gorgeous Celine coat. Since the color itself is very "in your face" I love it in combination with white to tone it down a bit, making great fresh appearance. Prefect for hot days, right?
Makeup from Marc Jacobs runway have to say is extremely daring and sexy. Do you dare?

Prihajajočo pomlad električno modra žal ne bo več kraljevala v modenem svetu, vseeno, pa sem utegnila najti oblekice iz kolekcije 3.1.Phillip Lim-a in plašč Celine, ki so super modna inspiracija tej objavi. Električno modra je v kombinaciji z belo izjemno sveža izbira, brez dvoma popolna za toplo sezono.
Drzne pa svoje oči obrobite z modro, kot so to storili na modni reviji Marc Jacobsa. =)

SHADE OF THE DAY* I lilac it!

I forgot how much I love browsing through my siss nailpolish stash. This time I picked up OPI Do you lilac it and used China Glaze Matte Magic over it:

Popolnoma sem pozabila, kako rada brskam po sestrini zbirki lakov za nohte. Tokrat sem si zopet dala duška, ter si izbrala OOI Do you lilac it in preko njega uporabila še Matte Magic nadlak:

OPI Do you lilac it? its very sheer with first coat, but the second one bulids it perfectly, so 2 coats is enough. Matte Magic dries very fast due its finish and leavs gorgeous velvet finish.
OPI Do you lilac it? je s prvo plastjo zelo prosojen, druga pa ga popolnoma nadgradi in je popolnoma dovolj. Matte magic ga leto satenasto zmatira in se zaradi finiša tudi takoj posuši.

For this summer dress yourself in lilac flowy and airy dresses like Badgley Mischka and Dries van Noten did and makeup your eyes along the lines of Dior and Nanette Lapore.
V letošnjem poletju zapeljujte v prosojnih oblekicah v lila odtenkih, po vzoru Badgley Mischka in Dries van noten oči pa si obarvajte po vzoru Diorja in Nanette Lapore.

*SHADE OF THE DAY* Aqua blue

Feeling like wearing aqua blue. Didn't know which color to go with and I went with both. I love how it looks and think I will do manicures of that kind alot in the future. =)

Dan ko sem se počutila za azurno-modre nohte in ker nisem vedela kater lak bi bil boljši, sem uporabila oba. Res mi je všeč kako izgleda na rokah, zato sem prepričana, da bodo take manikure na blogu postale stalnica. =)

Finally super sunny days and the smell of spring in the air. Perfect opportunity to go for a super fun and sparkly manicure right?!
Končno smo dočakali krasne sončne dneve z vonjem po pomladi, kar je vedno super razlog, da posežem po bolj spomladanski manikuri kajne?!

My fav off white Orly Porcelain (two thin coats) upside down french manicure made with China Glaze Pizzazz and my fav Konad topcoat.
Orly Porcelain je še vedno moj najljubši smetanast odtenek, ter na glavo obrnjena manikura, narejena z China Glaze Pizzazz in zagotovo najboljši nadlak znamke Konad.

Nude nails, sparkles up side down manicures and neutral makeup is going to be very much in trend this upcoming spring and summer. Hurry! =)
Manikure in makeup v neutralnih barvah, bleščice, na glavo obrnjene francoske manikure... Vse to, nas letos čaka v prihajajoči pomlad/poletje sezoni. Juhu! =)

*SHADE OF THE DAY* Sideways french manicure

Today I finally did a sideways french manicure which I wanted to do fot quite some time now. I decided to play with finishes as well, this is the result: Black and white with glossy and matte. And after I did it I remembered of the handmade ring which I got as a gitf and matches manicure perfectly. So here it is:

Že nekaj časa sem razmišljala o "obstranski" francoski manikuri in končno je tukaj. Črno-bela (mat-sijoča) kombinacija je izpadla super, na fotkah pa je še ročno izdelan prstan, ki sem ga dobila v dar in se ujema z manikuro več kot odlično:

I applyed two coats of Zoya Putity and one strike of Zoya matte Dovima.
Nanesla sem dve plati sijoče bele Zoye Purity in tanko črto Zoye Dovima z mat finišem.

And yes this year huge spring summer trend B&W trend matches my mani prefectly:

*SHADE OF THE DAY* Zoya fuchsia pink

I wasn't a big fan of fuchsia shimmery nailpolishes for a long time. But as my nail polish love is getting bigger and stronger I grove love for them as well. This one is an oldie but goldie that will be perfect for summer.

Kar dolgo časa nisem marala fuksija lakov za nohte, ki so imeli šimer. A ker ljubezen do lakov za nohte raste, sem seveda vzljubila tudi te. Zoya Anaka je že kar star odtenek, a bo odličen za poletje!

Despite the age of the nailpolish the application was super runny and it dried very fast. I needed two thin coats.
Potrebovala sem dve tanki plasti in kljub starosti laka, je še vedno popolnoma mazljiv in hitro se je poslušil.

Pravzaprav trendi letos zapovedujejo veliko pink barve. Fuksije pa tokrat mogoče malo manj. Šminka v barvi fuksije naj bo kombinirana z minimalnim obraznim makeupom.

*SHADE OF THE DAY* Chameleon

Despite drawer full of nail polishes I don't have nothing like thisone. Bizillion faces shown under different corners and a true chameleon. Take a look at China Glaze - Rare & Radiant.

Navkljub polnemu predalu lakov za nohte, nimam niti enega, ki bi mu bil vsaj malo podoben. Dobesedno je kameleon, ki je pod vsakim kotov čisto drugačen. China Glaze - Rare & Radiant. 

I needed two thin coats, and I need to say I am seriously fascinated by the monochrome finish.
Potrebovala sem dva tanka sloja, monochrome finiš pa me je naravnost fasciniral.

And even though this is not a holographic nail polish, it reminds of it alot, due to its strong monographic finish. So I cant pass this years huge holographic trend. Its going to be present everywhere. Even makeup artist found the way to use it:

In čeprav ta ni holograf, mu je pa zaradi močnega monokhrome finiša zelo podoben, ne morem mimo letošnjega trenda - holgraf. V modi bo zelo prisoten, makeup artisti, pa so našli pot, kako ga vpeljati tudi v beauty vode:

*SHADE OF THE DAY* Metallic with some bright color

Orly sea gurl is actually an old nail polish that was a little bit forgoten, but here it is again, all preety and this time a little pimped with bright glitters. =)

I applyed one coat of Orly and one coat of Essence circus on my ringfinger.

Metallic trend is going to stay a big trend this year in fashion aswell and I have to say I'm preety happy about that, since I'm loving it very much. Here are some ss2013 trends that inspired me for this manicure and can be great inspiration:

I seriously love blue nailpolishes and feel great wearing them. So guess which one I have from new Maria Carey collection to show you. =)
Its kind of the same as Last Friday night from Katy Perry collection, just that this one is opaque and with new, unique liquid sand finish. And I like it cauze it looks like light denim. =)

Like I said the finish is liquid sand, its surface is not smooth but its not harsh at all. It dries really fast, due matte finnish and it has holographic glitters in it. Like it alot! =)

S/s 2013 is going to be very blue, here are some makeup trends from runways which kinda reminded me of the nailpolish. =)
